What began as a 16-year-old's dream trip to France has now blossomed into a full-fledged perfume brand with a philanthropic mission. Parfums de Brennan made its debut with the unisex fragrance Pure Dreams, which blends luxury and heart. The fragrance features with bright notes of Egyptian geranium and Moroccan rose, balanced by patchouli and rich Laotian Oud, followed by the refined aroma of Madagascar vanilla.
In Godoi’s own words, he explains, "Parfums de Brennan was founded with one simple goal: To be a force for good through our luxury fragrances."
Godoi has shared that his journey into perfumery began at the age of twelve after accidentally breaking his grandfather’s perfume bottle. As a result, he discovered captivating scents of oud, amber, and musk. This moment sparked a lifelong fascination with fragrance, leading him to study perfumery and begin crafting perfumes from off-the-shelf kits.
“I would like for my fragrances to serve as a bridge between your cherished memories and the meaningful moments yet to come," he shares, highlighting the personal and emotional connections that fragrances can evoke.
But Godoi’s mission extends beyond creating beautiful scents. He is deeply committed to giving back to the community, explaining: "I am also deeply passionate about philanthropy and service. Pure Dreams, the brand’s first fragrance, supports Jonathan’s Place, a DFW-based non-profit that provides safe homes and bright futures for children, teens, and young adults who have experienced abuse or neglect.

What is Jonathan’s Place?
Jonathan’s Place is a North Texas non-profit organization dedicated to providing safety, loving homes, and brighter futures for children, teens, and young adults who have experienced abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Since its founding in 1991, Jonathan’s Place has offered specialized care and residential support to vulnerable youth.
The organization runs several programs, including an Emergency Shelter that provides residential care for children from newborns to 18 years old, making it the only facility in Dallas County to care for children under the age of five. While staying at Jonathan’s Place, children receive crucial care, including medical and dental exams, psychological assessments, therapy, and educational support.
In addition to the Emergency Shelter, Jonathan’s Place runs a Foster Care & Adoption program, a Girls Residential Treatment Program for those requiring therapeutic care, and a Safe Place program aimed at preventing abuse and supporting youth in crisis. Their Transitional Living Program (TLP) assists young women aging out of foster care by providing safe housing and critical life skills to ensure a successful transition to adulthood.
One of the organization's newest initiatives, the RESET program, supports victims of child sex trafficking, offering trauma-informed care and long-term therapeutic foster placements. Through all these programs, Jonathan’s Place is dedicated to creating safe, nurturing environments where children and young adults can rebuild their lives and look forward to a promising future.
