Groupe Rocher Sells Perfume Plant to Arcade Beauty

Groupe Rocher has finalized the sale of its Ploërmel perfume production facility to Arcade Beauty, a global leader in beauty product sampling and packaging. This agreement ensures a promising future for the historic plant, which has been part of Groupe Rocher since 1982.

The recent deal between Groupe Rocher and Arcade Beauty has secured continued employment for all current staff at the Ploërmel site, with the plant set to continue producing fragrances for Groupe Rocher brands over the next five years. 

Arcade Beauty, which specializes in the manufacturing of product samples and packaging for the beauty and cosmetics industries, will also introduce 10 million additional units to the site over the next two years, with plans for further expansion.

New Beginnings 

Groupe Rocher’s CEO, Jean-David Schwartz, praised the agreement, calling it a new beginning for the Ploërmel plant. He expressed confidence that Arcade Beauty would maintain the site’s legacy of excellence, while also bringing fresh opportunities for development. He also thanked the employees of the plant for their dedication over the years and expressed optimism about its future under new ownership.

Carl Allain, CEO of Arcade Beauty, highlighted the collaboration between the two companies that led to the sale and looked forward to welcoming the Ploërmel team into Arcade Beauty’s operations. The company plans to invest in the plant’s development, further securing its position in the beauty industry's supply chain.

The sale was supported by KPMG Deal Advisory Services, LBMB Notaires, and Lmt Avocats law firm.
